I recently inherited my fathers Colt Lawman and now I just found the original box, paperwork, and receipt while cleaning out the garage to sell the house. Made my day. I cant believe he kept everything.

That was a lot more money in 1979 than it is today.

Try to imagine what finding a gun like that,

still in the box, unfired, would be like.

    It wasn't a Colt, and it's only a 22, but it made

my day, and it is a family favorite.

Thanks guys. Yeah. I couldnt believe it when I seen the colt. The nickel finish is pristine. The only blemishes on the revolver r in the cylinder chambers from powder.

Outstanding! My Dad's only 6" Colt was a Trooper, his others were( I have them now) a Colt Cobra 38spl., a Colt King Cobra 3" 357, and the Det. Special. Plus I have a Python I bough. Hold on to this gun. They are def. Worth a lot more then $158 bucks...
