Sure. Google for kevlar armor and have a look. It's probably safe to say "you get what you pay for" and pay you will. But experts will be able to tell you which type/make/manufacturer of armor gives you the most bang for your buck.Is Kevlar available for civilian use? What would one expect to pay for such a thing?
There are some types of body armor that do a pretty good job of stopping pistol rounds but rifle rounds are a different story.Also, do they make kevlar helmets that most bullets won't go through?
