OK, Obama is looking for nominations for the 2013 Presidential Citizens Medal, nominations close on March 31st. Typically these go to some community activist or other progressive shill. I am trying to think of somebody in the firearms community (the "Gun Culture" if you will) to nominate and would appreciate some suggestions. I already thought of Ronnie Barrett, but he would not qualify. Here are the requirements:

If we all can agree on a nominee, we can submit it that nomination here: http://www.whitehouse.gov/citizensmedal/submit-a-nomination

    Requires Citizenship Huh...

Well that rules out Obama... My idea would be for the gun community to nominate him as gun salesman of the year... It's "outside" his regular job of playing golf and embarrassing the United States... And no one can deny his effective at it.

    Tack

He was my first thought, but the Socialist in Chief never even gave him a mention when he was murdered. But of course he had the flags lowered to half mast when that crack ho' Whitney Houston overdosed.

If not the late C. Kyle, then anybody who would have the honor to turn their back on the president, the white house, and this award.

I'd like to nominate Paul Ryan.

Not only did the young man have the courage to run and capability to be the next VP, this economic expert has just submitted the House of Representatives' visionary budget to put America back on a path to a financialy secure future but a return to liberty as well.

Wayne is not qualified unless there is something he has done outside of his job. Chris Cox should though. Dango would too. But what specifically have they done to deserve it?

How about that Doctor who told it like it is at a dinner with Obama sitting right next to him? What was his name?

That was tongue-in-cheek. I would have a better chance of Obummer okaying the selection then Wayne LaPierre would.
