From what I hear iin most States it is easier than the average LE qual course (piece of cake if you are a decent shooter). My sister in-law passed hers after about 200 rounds of practice (the only handgun experience she had).

Probably varies state to state...
IIRC (It's been a while) to qualify here in NC you take 10 shots at 3 yds, 15 at 5 yds and 15 at 7 yds.
You have to hit the silhouette...anywhere on the blue...3 out of 4 shots...(again, don't quote me...) to pass.
Easy peasy if you practice a little beforehand
