I'm sure you have heard the uproar about the ceo saying he supports traditional values. That's it. He was asked the question about gay marriage in an interview and that was his answer. The press and other activist have made this into something it isn't.

August 1 I will be at chick fil a for dinner. Tolerance should go both ways.

As long as the chain continues to serve anyone, straight or gay, black or white, tall or short, married or single, blue eyed or red, etc., he should have the right to say what he thinks, even if I don't like it.

Amen. If there was one closer than ~180 miles, I'd go.

Not saying its right or wrong, but everyone is making this out to be something bigger than it is! They are closed on Sundays too are you hating them for that because they want their employees to spend time at church and/ or with family?

I DO NOT hate... that is your word not mine. They have every right to take a stand... on this issue or any other.... and so does everybody else including me. This is the last comment I will make on this subject.

Look, it's not like they said "fags and dykes are going to hell"
They just said that they support traditional marriage. My lesbian sister and her lesbian wife, and all their lesbian friends don't find it offensive, and say they'll still eat there. If some people do find it offensive, fine. Feel free to eat somewhere else because a family simply admits to what their values are. They aren't even trying to force their values on anyone else, unless you count the fact that they're closed on Sunday. Don't bother me any, 90% of Ruston is closed on Sunday too.

Should they have lied when they were asked what their beliefs were? What kind of people would that make them?
