As of right now, 32 of 33 miners have been rescued. I am totally ecstatic about this right now. I cannot imagine how difficult being down there would have been.

Each time a miner has come up, there has been a great cheer of exultation.

My spirit brings praises to God for each miner brought back from that horrible place.

    Yeah!!!!!!!!!!

Last miner is on his way up. One thing this process is shown is that other countries are just as patriotic for their own country as Americans are for ours.

A moment of Chilean pride, for sure!

So they were under ground with sh!tty food, no sunlight and 32 other guys for 69 days.........Meh!

Sounds like any one of the six deterrent patrols I made on the Lincoln, a Polaris sub, where we pulled the plug at the 100 fathom curve and stayed down for 74 days.

And 33 miners can't be anywhere near as bad as 112 sailors!

    But God Bless them!

A very heartwarming story, and a great display of nationalism. And I am proud that the American press carried every minute of the play-by-play.

Now I wonder who's scrambling for the movie rights!

I didn't know you were submariner, Cane. Thank you for your service. Hot, stinky, dark, separated from loved ones, in constant peril, chain of command at all times, hard to sleep. Those probably describe both situations.
