I just wanted to share my last target from the other day. I got it sighted in a few weeks ago and wanted to check it again before starting to work up a new load. I was shooting 150gr Federal JSP.......the cheapest factory load I can find around here. This was out of a Mossberg ATR with a Nikon 3-9x40.

My last 3 groups. You can see my point of aim was moving but the rifle wasn't. Between shooting this and my AR I realized I need more range time before rifle season opens in 6 or so weeks. I will be frequenting the range during those weeks.

    Was that at 100 yards?

    Good shooting

Good grouping from a hunting rifle. How do you like the Nikon? I have a few on a couple of my rifles and find them clear and crisp.

Did you get the targets from Lawenforcement targets.com?? Found 100, smaller reversed B27s for $12.95

    Yes, the distance was 100yds.

I actually had to pick the targets up at the range because I forgot mine. I really like the Nikon. For $150 it is very clear, holds its zero and performs well. It meets all of my needs for hunting purposes.

Don't worry Spitty, those whitetails normally don't stick around long enough to give you a second shot, although, it's looks like your on the right track to making the first one count. Anyone of those shots would have heart or lungs all over it.
    Nice shoot'n Bro.
