Checkin' back

The Sespe Wilderness, in the mountains of Ventura County, CA, was hot, but the the stream was flowing and I got in a 10 mile hike up and back between 4,000 ft. and 7,000 ft. elevation. It was a bit hot for the wildlife, especially me, which was otherwise laying low. Spring has been in full swing, even in the high country over 7,000 feet.
