Has it been done before? Pictures?
You certainly would not want checkering where you lay your cheek against the stock!
Why would you want to? It would look rediculous!
That is a ton of tedious work for no reason. Well done checkering should accentuate the features of the stock and be functional.
It probably has been done before, but I don't know of any pics. It would serve no real purpose other than sanding off your cheek.
WOW sounds cool i would go at least 28 lpi post some pics when your done and let us know how it works
I'm not doing it. It was just crazy idea i had.
Yeah don't blame you. I think I'd get about a quarter of the way through and I'd be thinking about turning the tools on myself. Lol
I painted my entire .22 lr did a digital camo job turned out good but takes a while
Pictures please. I've been tempted to do it myself.
How do I send pics I just got this app
When you post a reply there should be an attachments button just below the input field. Click that and then add attachment.
Not letting me its saying it's too short add characters ?
Oh you have to say something with it. Just give a title or something and then add the attachment. I think you need a minimum of 10 characters.
Kinda stands out up close but when you set it near brush it blends really well
Wow nice work man. I'm definitely gonna give it a go at some point.
If I ever do it again which I might with a 30-06 I'll make the base color the tan about half the side and make the olive drab green a little bigger but keep the brown about the same.
Yeah I'd imagine that would dull it down a bit for the upclose looks.
