I have been paying $12 to $15 a box for 22 wmr ammo buying 500 rounds at a time. 22 wmr ammo has never been cheap. 22 wmr ammo has always been about the same price as cheap 9mm ammo. Use gunbot.net and ammoseek.com to search for "bargains."

LGS here has them for $28 which isn't bad compared to other places. Plus convenient for me.

$25 to $30 seems about normal for BX-25's. I picked up a bunch when they hit $20 at Grabagun.com but their prices can vary from week to week.

I have had no problem with the steel lips or promag magazines. All plastic 22 LR magazines should be washed with dishwashing liquid and water before use. They all have plastic debris and molding agents inside them. Two people have given me 10/22 magazines because they wouldn't work. I washed them and let them dry overnight. Both have worked flawlessly. Right now I have four 25 round and one 32 round 10/22 magazines that work well.

I just picked up a couple from my LGS a couple weeks ago for 28 bucks each. a far cry from what they cost like 6 months ago.

LGS had some CCI .22LR 40 gr 100 round pack for $30 a box.
I passed on that very quick.

I was at Sportsman's Warehouse and they had the Ruger 10/22 50 Round Black Magazine for $60, too much for me!

MidwayUSA has the same one for $44.99, way cheaper!
