Prices sure have gone up. The price was $59.99 fir pmags before they pulled the price down because of the bad posts on Facebook. They have also changed their firearm sales policy. You can still see the old price at the bottom of the page. My business with them id done. http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/product/MAG-074

This is what is says now

Please Note

We're sorry, but this product is no longer available.

They want $699.00 for 1000 rounds of lake city 5.56:eek:
Their inventory is likely closing down to zero.

They HAVE to ask for more, lots more even for the last that they have.
There is tons of panic buying going on.

They are SOLD OUT of all 30 rd Pmags except the FDE.

They re worded thier weapons post on FB to read "temptraily"

I was very angry about it at first too.

But then I saw people positing screenshots of harrrassing their sales girls on CTD chat to complain abouyt them dropping guns.

And i made a point of entering chat and saying some nice words and wishing them a merry christmas.

They were our frinds for a very long time it works both ways.
I am not going to demonize them.

Who knows between all these vendors pullin in the same night, maybe some jackbooted thugs are making phonecalls to CEO's homes?

Now Cheaper than dirt is suspending online firearm sales (Temporarily).

http://www.shtfplan.com/headline-ne...es-of-firearms-effective-immediately_12182012

Cheaper Than Dirt! has temporarily suspended online sales of firearms. As a long time supporter of the Second Amendment, Cheaper Than Dirt! will continue to promote the safe and responsible use of firearms by law abiding customers. During this temporary suspension, we will review our policies and promotions.
They stopped selling firearms, if they don't support firearms I don't support them...
bluez, so CTD has "temporarily" stopped believing in the 2nd Amendment because it might hurt their sales with politically correct soccer moms? You either believe or you don't. Don't buy from these traitors.

He "understands" the price gougeing too
I am not employed by them just a long time customer.

It is true they jacked up thoier prices. but at a time when everyone else is sold OUT how could they not?
Once they sell the mags there are proably none comoing for a couple months.

I rather have a store where i cna buy a mag for 29.95 ( PMag price yesterday evening) than not at all.

And "temporarily" started to gouge the hell out of its customers durring this time of "emergency".
It's as bad as hurricane price gougers.
Got this email yesterday:

Cheaper Than Dirt! will Resume Online Firearm Sales Pending Policy Changes

Cheaper Than Dirt! recently announced that it was temporarily suspending online sales of firearms pending a review of its order processing and procedures. Well-known for its ability to process and ship orders within 24 hours, online sales have skyrocketed to a point where it may take up to 72 hours for firearms and other items to ship.

"In light of recent events, we believe it is prudent to review our policies and procedures to ensure we can continue to provide the products and firearms our customers demand," said Chief Operations Officer Roberta Wilson. "We will resume online sales once we update our process and continue as we have always done by shipping firearms only to FFL dealers."

Ms. Wilson closed with, "As a long-time supporter of the Second Amendment, we will continue to serve the needs of the firearms community while ensuring our unsurpassed level of quality and customer service."

$100.00 for a mag? That's awesome. These douchebags can kick rocks. I will never buy from them again.

LOL, they claim it to be their "low Price"

Our Low Price: $99.97
20 rds 223 = $25.00

Kinda different from a few weeks ago -- was $9.50. Shows what huge demand can do to prices.
223 used to be a good deal low cost rifle round.
Cheaper than Dirt can sux my azz!! :D
Business is always a balance between greed and fear. They want to make as much as possible without losing their customer base.

If you are a constant on-line shopper, like I tend to be, you will see that some sellers of firearms related products have not raised prices on their products. I am keeping notes on that, they will get my future business.
What we should remember is the distributors that jacked their prices up and take our business elsewhere in the future.
TO CHUCKUSARET:

I know that I WILL remember!! Hah....it will have to be a COLLLLD COLD DAY b4 I buy anything from them......................................or...........................an utter emergency :).
Actually, I have not purchased much from them since they went on that musical warehouse shipment game. And that has been awhile now.

That is the biggest turn off for me. Shipping is horrible with that system.
