What's a good cheap trap gun. I seen a mossber for 320 and a savage arms for 230. But what should be a good barrel length for that sport ?

I agree my bt99 has a 34 inch barrel. Holds a nice pattern and really reaches out there....

Sorry not cheap... You can find nice trap model remington 1100 for around 500 bucks. Don't go cheap cause cheap guns don't last long shooting trap..... Rounds add up quickly. I have seen more people have troubles fighting a garbage gun when they could have bought a nice used trap gun for same $ or little more..... Just sayin...

I picked up an Over Under Spartan about 5 years ago for $460.00

Most of my buddies shoot expensive Rugers, Binelli's Ect...but none of them have out shot my Check import. Sure, it's not nearly as nice as there 1k+ guns but it works for me.:)

    Tack

Agree don't buy the O/U.... I had a charles daily made by khan same as mosburg.... Piece of @$$ matter. That remington is twice the gun... If you think you need a o/u buy a used red label or a citori. I found a citori for $600.... Patience is key grasshopper

    Trap shooting

I shoot trap with a 12 gauge Weatherby uplander.
You can buy one in the $375 range or maybe cheaper.

The uplander when it was designed by Weatherby, was tested with over 15,000 rounds without any default on the guns part. It also comes with a selection of chokes.

I think you would be a happy shooter.

"Cheap" and "trap gun" just do not go well together in the same sentence.

price is right but if it starts acting up after 1000 rounds? had a condor comp and after about 700 rounds would not cycle the trigger on .75 oz loads (it was a 20)sent it back all my fault to light a load they cleaned and adjusted returned to me within 200 rounds it went to doubleing about 1 of 10 would empty both barrels traded up to a beretta 686 and life is good 5000 rounds plus with no issues jmho pay now or later

So far I have about 100 rounds through it with no problems using standard 12 ga target loads.
