Wow! Right place at the right time. I suppose that is a matter of perspective...
One dead bad guy!
Only way it could have turned out better,if the CCW holder got both punks!
Sleep well guy
What? He's not a cop and he didn't hit a dozen innocent bystanders in a withering volley of gunfire? How could that be?
I hope he and the perp are of the same race, or we could have another "community outrage" here.
He saved a few lives. He has most likely been married a long time.. Wife leaves note on table, and he goes to the store and shoots a robber? Sounds like a sweetheart..
LOL, that's awesome! Old people are the best!
So the note said to "go and get milk, shoot the robber, and then be home in time for dinner"?
This woman is the new Miss Cleo!!
Gotta love it! Glad it turned out well and the punk is down. As it should be!
There is new info out on this event. Two perps, two airsoft guns, one civilian with a .45.
The civilian told the perps to drop their weapons. One of them did, one did not. The one that did drop his weapon ran from the scene but has since been arrested. The one that did not drop his weapon was shot three times and was dead when police arrived.
Police are praising the actions of the civilian and the restraint he showed.
Wow the guy in the photo looks just like he could be obama's son.
Maybe he is, you never know.
This awful needless bloodshed could have been prevented by banning guys from doing the grocery shopping!
“He’s always been a marksman,” his wife said. “He shoots in competitions, but this is the first time he’s ever killed anyone and I don’t know how he’ll handle that.”
or banning stupidity!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My post was intended to be sarcasm. Obviously he had good skills, which is what is sadly lacking in a lot of LEO's. My brother was a cop for 20 years, and one day I showed him one of my newly acquired guns, and he showed me the one he carried daily. It was covered with lint and dust, including inside the barrel. I'm just thankful he never had to use it.
