AZ has had similar issues i believe. I got a couple years on mine, hoping it's cleared up by then.
I remember the toughest part to get PA's was finding a parking spot around the delaware County courthouse with my hd truck in the snow, except I had to go twice (out of state)Although Taxylvania (Pennsylvania) can be rough on certain areas, our CCW laws are pretty easy and quick. Walk in, fill out the paper, pay $20, wait a minute or so for the background check to go through, walk out with your card. It took me longer to do the paper than it did to get the permit. Good for 5 years. Not sure if they have a life time option or not, but will definitely check into that.
Wish they issued lifetime permits here.Gosh- I thought Alabama was a backwards state (not knocking it- I love it). But we can renew by mail, or online (takes about 10 days), or we can pop in in person- and walk out with new license in hand- in about 15 min, unless it's a first time permit- then it may be a couple days. Lunch time may be a little slower.
If over 60- a lifetime permit is $150. Been thinking about that?![]()
That seems like a no-brainer to me. Just not having to deal with the hassle of renewing your permit would be worth $150.If over 60- a lifetime permit is $150. Been thinking about that?![]()
