Cast Bullet Load data for .243 100 gr round nose with gas check

    Hey guys,

    Looking for a load for .243 win with 100 gr. round nose with gas check.

    12/2400. Use Alox lube.

    Thanks, is that the max load for this bullet? Do you know what fps is by chance?

    The term "max load" for a cast rifle bullet is irrelivant, it's a low pressure load but it's as hot as a hard lead bullet can take.

    Speed's in the the 1,700+ fps range. Trajectory is very close to a .22 MRF but with more impact effect and that makes it a great squirrel hunting round.

    Sorry I am new to the cast world, thanks for you help, last question I have was about the gas check, this load is for a gas checked bullet correct? I am getting this information for an older fella that hasn't got the resources, so once again, thank you! :)

    Please use some type of filler to hold the powder against the primer. I use decron as a filler.
