I dont have much but it’s lookin better every day
Not very heavy but packs a punch.
My Px4 compact. Been carrying it for a couple years. Lots of drills and holster presentations. Over 3,000 rounds. Finish is starting to show some wear.

My Glock 17, not carried a lot by me, but used a lot for drills, multi gun competition, and just a bunch of range use. Grip chopped for when I do/did carry it. Mostly back to DA/SA pistols for carry now. But the Glock still remains a trusty workhorse.
Is that a gen 1?
Gen 2. Been factory rebuilt once (all parts replaced with new factory parts, except the frame, slide, barrel and locking block.)
Most of it is just normal holster wear, some scratches and some finish wear on the slide.
My carry doesn't show much wear but I have only been carrying this gun for about two years. The cheap holster shows much more wear, it's a pocket carry.
Tenifer finished pistols seem to wear pretty slow.
My P07 which has been carried and run about as hard as the Px4 above shows much less wear than the Beretta. Again, that Tennifer finish shows its toughness. It is about 700 rounds behind the Px4, but still, the first 2k rounds are where the most wear was observed and then it slowed down.

Nice! The finish still looks new tbh
I know. The P07 finish has impressed me quite a bit. Both pistols are also carried in the same type of holster (JM Custom Kydex). They are pretty well protected from body oil and sweat.
Depends, I like to have options, these are just a few...
I sense confusion in the thread. To clarify, Rifling82, are you posting about finish wear and tear on firearms that are carried? Some responses seem to be geared to “what do you wear for carry?”
Just seeking to clear things up.
Yep, finish wear and tear
What should I name the thread? I couldn’t decide
I changed it, hopefully there will be less confusion
Ooops, sorry. My guns get a lot of mileage but they all have pretty tough finishes and my holster don’t seem to put a lot of wear on them.
You’re fine Wambli
