I am looking for a good concealed weapon. I was looking at an HK P2000SK. Not really a Glock fan. Any other suggestions? I am open to a range of calibers, .380 9mm .40 .45

Bersa Thunder 380, CZ 75B 9mm or Bersa 45 UC Pro....all great guns, and very affordable.

To many good choices out there. YOU will have to make that call. Handle ever pistol you can and be sure you can get a holster for it.

Any parameters other than caliber? Looking for a subcompact, compact, mid sized or what? Do you have a preferred manual of arms? Like Hardluk1 said, there are so many good choices out there it's hard to offer up a recommendation without more info.

I'd go to a range that let's you rent and try shooting some different guns, see what feels good and ypu can hit with. Also, if you have some buddies to conceal, ypu could ask to wear their gun around for the day( within the confines of the law) to see what kind of gun you want to carry. Everybody is different, so learning what the gun shop salesman likes to carry doesn't help you.

I carried a USP9C for a good deal of time. Nothing wrong with the platform, its my favorite of all, but I found it just a bit too thick.

I traded it back for a G19.... Doubt I'll ever switch again

The sky is the limit my friend! :D
I advise a 5 shot 38 sp j-frame size revolver as a base line. I prefer a S&W 6906, but I am old school when it come to what I like!!!;)

I have tried a lot of guns but find nothing suits me as well as a Sig P238 or P938. They do cost a lot of money but if you want something that you enjoy shooting try a Sig before you buy. Trying to practice with the kicking KelTec or the Ruger LCP is no fun at all in my book and kept me from shooting as much as I should.

I keep hearing about these nanos. They are not offered over here, only the 92. Too bad.

You can't go wrong with an HK. I carry a full size USP .40. I mostly open carry while hunting. The compact USP .40 is what I recommend for cc. You have various carry options, a safety/decocker, polymer frame, nice sights, nice trigger pull in DA and SA, an excellent spring (like shooting a 9mm), premium material and famous German Engineering. Ok, I am biased, but honest. The 2000s are also excellent.

Thanks for all the great replies! I have a lot of ideas. I'll have to check out those nano's but I'm an HK guy too.... It will be hard to get anything else.
