This is a gun that I've had for a while. I got it from my dad, who got it from his uncle. My dad passed away a long time ago, but I think I remember him saying something about it being from WW2. Plus I figure the "PB" on the grips stand for Pietro Beretta. Not exactly sure though. Any help will be thanked!

It doesn't have any markings on the sides of the slide? 7.65 (32 ACP)
    caliber?

I'm going to guess it's a late WWII Beretta model 1935.

most liekly lots of short cuts were made as the war in italy came to a close

based on lack of slide markings and the higher hammer positionng its a 1935.

oh yeah she's alive. I have no idea what it shoots though. It's not all rusted up and a number 2 pencil (round #2 pencil) won't fit in the barrel.

If it's a 34 it's a .380 if it's a 35 it's a .32. The slick sides I think were all made in 1944. Heres my slick side .380. that got stolen. The only caliber marking is a 9 above the trigger guard on the right side

I wouldn't sell it. You won't get enough for it to replace the historical or sentimental value and you will always regret it.

No not the gun. What's in the background? It looks like a baby....maybe a doll....something in a diaper.
