Ok, tons of folks think the 5.56 is a subpar round not capable of penetrating the clothing of our nation's enemies but fawn over the 5.7x28 FN round.
How does a round that has the same diameter, more weight, and faster velocity in terms of the 5.56 be outperformed by a lighter slower round out of a handgun??
I'm missing some logic.
The reason being is I've done a bunch of reading about FN firearms and you can't do that without learning opinions and such on the FN5.7 handgun and its ammunition. I've found lots of seemingly intelligent reviewers extoll the virtues of this round out of both rifles and handguns yet tell the readers of the ineffectiveness of the 5.56.
Is there something I've missed in terms of the 5.56 that makes it inferior to the 5.7??
