I have someone in another state interested in one of my rifles, I am curious if I can ship a C&R rifle to a C&R holder? I do not have any sorta FFL or C&R...

I'm gonna guess "yes". But I've been wrong once before.

    C & R License

Yes you can as long as the gun your going to ship qualifies. Just have them send you a signed copy and keep it for your records. Send it to the address on the license and no where else. If you got any that you would like to send me I'll send you a copy of my license. :D

As the folks have said- Yes.

When transferring ownership of a firearm across a state line, it must go TO a FFL holder. Lucky for you- a C&R is a FFL. It is a Type 3 (dealer is type 1). You may ship a rifle or shotgun TO a FFL anywhere in the US. If the gun is a C&R, you can ship to a C&R FFL holder.

C&R means original condition (more or less) and gun in question was made 50 yrs ago- OR is on a list published by the BATFE (such as all Winchester 88s, no matter the age).

Have him fax or e-mail a signed copy of his FFL license as it must be shipped w/ the rifle. Someones license has to be with it, why not his.

    I didn't know that.

I had never heard that before. I have had several C&R firearms shipped to my license from people that didn't have an FFL so none was included. Of course I sent them a copy of my license but that was for their record. Also I have sent several modern firearms to the factory for repair or changes made (different sights and such) and have never included a FFL and don't remember one being included with the returned firearm. I'm not disagreeing with you but if thats is indeed the case I need to find out for sure.
