I've looked on the Internet but have found nothing.
i had one just like it several years ago. my wife got it at WalMart for me as a Christmas present and somehow got lost. seemed like a decent knife, but i didn't have it very long before it got lost. i think WalMart still carries it. same luck with an internet search, not much out there about them.
I thought it may have been older because I don't see too many Barlow type blades anymore. Thanks for the info.
I concur, I believe Winchester has discontinued it.
I personally don't care for Winchester knives, or Smith and Wesson for that matter. They need to stick to what they know. Both company's knives feel cheap and flimsy to me.
WTS, I've never actually had either of their knives break or fail in any way. I couldn't get my Winchester to hold an edge to save my life though (except by not using it).
Not much experience with Winchester, though they seem nice, but my experiences with S&W knives have been amazing
S&W was hit or miss with me. Contemplated the Winchester bowie, with price as a primary consideration.
Regardless, hold on to your folder, may have considerable value down the road.
That's what I'm thinking, anything discontinued can be worth some money.
S&W, Winchester, Remington don't make knives. They sell the rights to use their names on knives. Almost all of them are made in China and are poor quality.
