Are the reliable?
THEY* I meant to say
They are generally regarded as junk. I have a pro mag extended 20rd mag for an xd. I've used it a handfull of times at the range. Not as reliable as factory mags. I bought it before I knew better.
Find something else. For most guns, factory mags are best. The exceptions are ar's=pmags and 1911's= pretty much anything EXCEPT factory mags
Good info that's what I needed to know..Thanks
Most Promags are anything but "Pro". They should call them Conmags.
The one exception I know of is the 32 rd polymer 9mm mags for the AR-15. They work
I haven't used them but haven't heard anything good about them .If you're looking for some spare mags for you're new 229 you won't go wrong with buying Mec-Gar Gregcotelcc.com usually has them for a good price.
Pro Mags for 995TS - CRAP!
The one I bought for my Beretta didn't work for crap. I had read this, and didn't believe it, and ended up returning it. Even people who say they have one that works, say they wouldn't use it for anything but target shooting. No CC, HD or LEO use.....
And for my money, I don't think you can beat P-Mags for the AR. Seems like Colt is actually shipping them stock with theirs.......
I am with everyone else here when I say...CRAP...CRAP...CRAP!!
The Sig only came with 2 mags,Id like 2 or 3 more..checking online I see ProMag pop up a lot and I'm glad I didn't buy any from the feed back I'm getting,I did how ever bid on Ebay for 2 factory sig mags..thanks for the info I will check that site out also
why not gi mags................tried and proven................chep enough too.........gunbroker.com
Get Mec-Gar magazines. They make many OEM magazines for many brands.
Thank you I will check it out
Appreciate the info .. I will look into those
I have heard some things about the GI mags. They're used, and maybe beat on a little. And what do they cost? You can get a brand new P-Mag for around or under 15 bucks, depending on the version.
There are plenty of good mags; Pro Mags aren't in that group.
Pro mags fall short of satisfaction. Hence, the extra dollar for factory mags. Then again, Tapco mags have proven to be quite satisfactory for me.
