FYI for California. Seems they're using every trick in the medical book to do weapons confiscation. More of the anti-gunners agenda, to disarm the populace.

Also, look at the picture at the link - some .22LR Remington, Blazer ammo and other ammo that will be destroyed!

Not sure about the fate of the weapons confiscated as well, the long-barreled .50-caliber Smith & Wesson revolver valued at several thousand dollars.

The Peoples Republik of Kalifornistan does not recognize the Constitution. The Department of Justice should be renamed the Gestapo or possibly the Thought Police. The Kalibanners are out in full force.

For everybody out there that has the "I'm not doing anything wrong, I'll be ok" mentality needs to pay attention to this. You don't get to decide what is right and wrong. They do and more often than not they bypass due process of law to declare you did something wrong and take you down.

Well if they show up to my house tonight, in the mood I'm in, I'll make sure they see just how much of a bad idea this is.

"You're not taking my bow and arrows, are you?" the man asked.
"No," said Yo. "We're not the bow and arrow police."

What this does to an already struggling mental healthcare system is make it even tougher to get folks to ask for help that could actually use it! Not the off the wall whacko everyone knows is nutz, the struggling parent that just cant make ends meet or someone experiencing great loss. Ive got guns so Im not going to a shrink or counselor to have them suggest I not have them "For Now"!

If I werent well beyond repair, I might think about a little mental tuneup here or there myself but why bother now....

Welcome to Nazi Germa......... I mean California. Worse than that to me is how someone could do a job like that and feel good about themselves. Life expectancy here in Bama at that job would be not very long I would think.

Well dang they only have 36 people in there little gustopo? They would need about 10X that to pull that BS here, it's just plain damn stupid that people just sit there and let that happen. You get out in the boonies here and they tried that they'd end up going missing, some of us might not be able to read but we can shoot just fine.

I'm honestly surprised they didn't take his bow, didn't they know such a high powered weapon like that can cut through body armor? Just wait after this it will be classified as a silenced assault weapon and be made illegal. Then again they'll probably just start offing people and throwing the bodies in mass graves would not surprise me at this point, you know anyone that speaks out or is not of the right mind set to there liking.

Sorry about the rant I just really hate people that run that state.

Crap like this is one reason I think it is not a good idea to list your firearms on your sig line.
    just my .02 cents worth

I only have 2 firearms and thats all they need to know .

Generally speaking, although not always, people who have been mentally evaluated have been evaluated for a reason.

As far as convicted felons possessing firearms, well, that's something you give up after a jury of your peers convicts you of a felony grade offense. Although I seriously doubt any shooting rampages will take place because someone who was driving drunk still owned a firearm, the DPRC kinda frowns on that.

Don't drink and drive or do drugs (or associate with those who do) if you want to keep your firearms. Seems pretty simple to me.

I'm actually 100% ok with them doing this to take away guns from violent felons..I don't really think a felony DUI warrants the loss of 2A rights, or that shrinks should call people unfit to own a firearm all willy-nilly, though

I learned, from this type of government overreach/violation of our individual civil rights, not to shrug my shoulders and say 'It won't happen here'!
IT IS HERE NOW AND SPREADING!
I hope this will wake up some who are on the fence or on the wrong side of the fence, but I am not holding my breath.

Most of the California citizens who are targeted by that task force have been found guilty of a felony and were ordered to turn over their guns. California has one of the most straignt forward systems in the country for identifying and classifying mental cases.

Recon its alright if ya trust the court with your rights. But with all the liberals that are sitting on a bench, I don't trust them.
