Can anyone inform me on the Bushnell Yardage Pro Laser Range Finder Scope model #204 124. 4-12 x 42mm variable. Im thinking about buying one but need some independent advice. Also will it fit on a Tikka T3 .270 dovetails?

just get rings for the tika mounts and in the diameter of the scope's tube

the shape of the scope wont allow me to do that. The main body of the scope is a square/rectangle construction rather than the round of a traditional scope.

the scope has an integral mounting bracket that fits standard ring bases. if yor rifle has slots like a .22 rifle, you can get an adapter but it should be standard scope bases.

You need to check your States laws. Not sure about now, but in NH it was not legal to use a laser scope for hunting.
