Is there anyway to change this trigger guard? Its not full steel and I don't see a screw where I can change the trigger guard.

You should have two roll pins, one in the front and one in the back. Knock those out .

It looks like an integral trigger guard.

Do you mean Carbon 15, if so then no you can't change it.

Just out of curiosity, is that an aluminum upper on your pic? The reason I ask is there is no forward assist on the Carbon 15's.

My bad. The only ones I had seen up to this point were slickside.

Probably a good idea, since the aluminum rails were reported to come loose after a significant amount of firing.

My buddy's C15 from 2008 didn't have the FA or dust cover. Guess BM figured out how to add the FA. Is it now part of the receiver molding or pinned on?

Some of the other less known brand polymer uppers have a FA, so maybe bushy followed suit. They still sell the upper by itself without the FA.

Thanks, fsted2a, I was wondering if they still did. The C-15 isn't a model I pay much attention to. I kind of figured the FA is a pinned on piece instead of a mold change so that would allow them to add the FA to some models.

Well that's interesting. So they use two molds? Oh well I don't care either way! :p
