So I was out shooting my Remington R1 the other day using some WWB and Rem UMC. I was having terrible issues with bullet drop. I was shooting on the 50 yard range aiming center mass on a standard silhouette target. My target was on the 25 yard line but when aiming center mass my bullets weren't even making it to the backstop! So I raised my point of aim to around the shoulders and my bullets would drop into the chest area and would usually make it to the backstop but some still didn't. I was worrying but I couldn't find anything wrong with my gun and nothing felt wrong. What on earth would cause a 45 slug to drop 2-3 in at 25 yards?
