Don't know about everyone else but i'd like to see whats inside the box. For all we know it might be packed with old newspapers.
This looks like a ballistic rubber they recycle and use on police ranges. It absorbs thousands of rounds before even showing a hole, but it can't be that product because it says "DIY" so I'm at a loss. Would like to see printed details instead of watching someone shoot at it.
I'd like to know what they're using for trapping bullets in the box also?
I have read on another forum that some of their members were building bullet traps using rubber mulch for the bullet traps media in boxes.
I need to figure out a way to trap my bullets since I cast quite a few different bullets, looks like an interesting product.
Why is he so close to the target?
Maybe he is a piss poor shot?
Use 3/4" rubber matting, like for a cattle trailer, behind the front panel and pack the box with sand. The matting will prevent the sand from running out the bullet holes. I'd make the box at least 20" deep. The holes in the matting will kind of seal themselves. The plywood target panel you'll have to replace after a while. The rubber matting should last longer before it needs replacing. Use wood screws on the front panel so you can just zip them out with a cordless drill.
Thanks for the information I'm going to give this a try,I really need catch all my lead for casting new Boolits
