Can I build or convert a rifle to full auto.
If you have to ask the question the answer is no. You don't have the proper licenses etc.
But if I have a gun smith and I purchase the parts and get the tax stamp...?
Still No! That gunsmith u have or know, should have told you the reason. No full auto weapons registered after 1986. You can buy those registered before 1986, if are willing to pay $10-15k and lots of ammo
With the exception of certain FFLs licensed to manufacture machine guns for military and law enforcement, no additional full autos may be made or registered after May 1986. You cannot GET a tax stamp to do that.
Which is why the local PD pays about $850 for a full auto M16, and YOU will pay about $16,000. There are a finite number of the ones that can legally be transferred to you.
I would listen and heed the warnings of these fine gentlemen.
(As a side note: the ATF does monitor such forum sites like this. And there are ways to track you.)
Oh so true.
Yeah crap I forgot.
"Build" or "talk about the build"?
