Bought it a few years ago from a old family friend that was in his late 80's and said his da got it for him when he turned 16.

On the gun is says "Browning Arms Company St Louis Mo & Montreal PQ" on the left side of the receiver. On the bottom is says 1S 73659

Trying to date it. And the value! Tried calling Browning but after 30 mins on hold I gave up.

I remember my uncle having one about 30 years ago. Going to have to find out what he ever did with it. Thanks for the memory.

It needs to be made in Belgium to have real value. I sold a Belgium made sweet 16 in 1998 for 1,200 after I beat the hell out of it quail hunting for 10 years. The only reason I quit quail hunting with it 16 ga ammo started getting scarce.
