I have a Browning Hi Power 9mm with a T serial #. Was wondering the value of the Gun, and what would be the best way to sell it. Thanks in advance for the help.

I know nothing about hi-powers, because I don't like how they look at all, so I've never had an ounce of interest, but man does that look like a tiny extractor! Are they all like that? Looks insufficient as he!!, like a 22lr.

If it's truly a Browning, as opposed to some Korean or Israeli or etc remake, then it's gotta be worth some mullah! That name usually carries with it a ton of weight within the firearm community.

Do you know what the "T" series serial number indicates? I assume you mentioned it specifically for a reason...

There's some moderator or old crony on here that idolizes the things whom might be able to provide you with some interesting and helpful info. I'm just here out of an akin curiosity.

I cannot quote you the value of the gun, but I know you can sell it. Probably a dozen of us here that would buy it, including me.

Our rules preclude us from conducting transactions outside the classifieds. I think you have to have a minimum number of posts to post in the classifieds.

Go to and search the Hi Power listings for some ideas.

I presume it was left in the cloth bag on a wet or metal surface?

Quite a few hundred if it works, and it looks like still should.

Have you tried to compare it to others on gun auction sites?

Remember that there is a difference between asking and actual sale price.

It does look a little beat up, but if it functions, and everything is kinda tight, then maybe 450-600 on the high side.
