We went to the local gun show yesterday - an entertaining way to spend a kind of rainy Saturday. One of the vendors there had a Browning shotgun in a home defense configuration - I didn't know Browning made anything like that. For the life of me I can't recall the model, but he said it was quite rare. I also can't seem to find it listed on Browning's web site.
It was a 12 ga pump, black synthetic stock, with a 20" barrel. So, the barrel is a little longer than the other models in this category, but the receiver is steel unlike the 870's alloy receiver. It loaded and ejected from the bottom.
Anyone have one of these or have an opinion about it compared to the 870?
