Boy and his tomahawk

    i bought my son a tomahawk yesterday and he and a neighbor boy have spent all there free time throwing it what a gift

    It's an English pipe hawk. A buddy of mine on another forum made it from parts he picked up at a trade fair. Handle is striped maple. It is very sharp.

    OK, so what kind of tomahawk did you get? Price ? Where from? I am interested in a decent throwing hawk. I'll throw just about any thing, I have never thrown a tomahawk. Hatchets,axes, screwdrivers, circular saw blades,railroad spikes, you name it. Definitly need some pics!

    i bought both mine and my sons hawk at old west days in Jackson Wy. Will get some photos the next time were out throwing. I paid 35 bucks for each they are what i would call pipe hawks that are hammer forged
