Nice hardware there mesinge2.
And I bet they work as good as they look!
All you need now is a dump bag to collect the spent brass!
I'm testing them out on Tuesday and I am seriously thinking about getting a set for my 629.
They look as good as your Ruger .
I'm gonna be the dick and ask the question...what did they set you back? If the function as well as they present themselves I might be interested.
It was only $67 for the block, two speed loaders, and shipping. I am planning on getting the kit for my 629 and two more loaders for each.
I wish I could get a set for my Medusa..
Very nice looking!!
Sweet! I think someone else here has that setup.
Rusty, you need to start reading my posts when you read them!
Cane's M19-3/357 Mag
5 Star Firearms - Speed Loaders - Range Blocks
Those do look awesome. I'm gonna have to get a set as well!
My wife tells me I need to listen more.....have you two been talking?
Finally speed loaders that will mach my 686!!!!
Hmmmm...functional and beautiful.
Just the way we like them.
I brought a healthy supply of Federal's 158 grain .357 magnum load from Wally World and I loaded 5 speed loaders, the gun, and the block. That means 84 rounds before I touch a cartridge with my hands. After that I reloaded the block, speed loaders, and revolver and did it again. Before I new it I went through 168 rounds . That was the fasted I have ever gone through ammo! Comparing them to HKS loaders I would say they are easier to turn but not so much that you would accidentally release the rounds. Also, they fit the Security Six better than the HKS loaders. The HKS one always fit my K frame S&W revolver perfectly but it was slightly off on the Security Six. Now, I need to try it with my m65 to see if it fits both equally well. Finally, because they are relieved and not circular they fit better with my over-sized grips.
Here's a target of one set of 84 rounds at 14 yards:
Super cool!! Where can I get a set?
Damn fine shooting sir. Nice looking accessories as well.
The only future problem I see is maintaining a healthy supply of 357 magnum on hand. I am going to have to start reloading!!
