I traded in my shotgun(long story but I'll buy it back soon) to buy a Cobra Derringer & a Taurus "Public Defender"(Judge) in Stainless steel.

I resold the derringer I should have listened to ya'll and never bought it to begin with( the owners manual says not to carry the gun or store it with ammo in it???? :().

I however love the Judge I will have a post coming soon with pictures on how well it shot but suffice it to say I love that PDX ammo,#4 Birdshot, 000 & 00 Buckshot and Old School Deer slugs.

I plan to carry this gun for close in work(I shot this gun at ranges between 5-15 feet) and back it up with either the .45 ACP or .357 Mag.

My bedside gun is the "Judge" with six inch barrel, loaded with Winchester PDX-1 shot shells. The PDX discs hold a tight pattern as evidenced by the groundhog I just waxed at about 30 feet, in my garden. I see a lot of negative comments regarding the .410 as a self defense round. I suggest those who doubt its effectiveness, check the U-Tube videos involving watermelons. You made a good choice in the Judge, enjoy.
