Boker?

Has anyone ever heard of a knife brand called Boker? If so, have you ever used one, or own one. I was looking into getting one and wanted to know how well they perform. Thanks!

They're known for making ceramic blades. The brand is okay but not great.

154cm, ATS-134, Talonite, D2, S30V and other steels (and pseudo-steels) will hold an edge better.

What are you looking to use the knife for?

In reality there are only three types of knives, quality wise.

1, Junk at any price.

2, good quality (usually moderately priced)

3, Expensive knives (usually over priced)

There usually isn't much difference in quality between #2 &3, except looks and price.

You can't afford to trust any in the #1 group.

** I have used boker knives in the past, I still have a boker electricians knife that's over forty years old that you can't buy away from me, of course I use other brands as well, Buck, Case, Boker, Ark. Cuttlery, AG Russle, there are many that fall into the good group that sell for anywhere from $12.00 to $50.00 dollars.
