So I received a call at work today from a collection agency attempting to collect a debt on behalf of BMG music.

I was caught off guard a little, BMG music I said??? Aren't they out of business? I have had an iTunes account for something like 9-10 years.

So I started thinking back.... And for the life of me can't ever remember ordering anything from them, let alone opening an account with them.

    Anyone else run into this???

No but I would pull my credit report and make sure it isn't listed. If it is, then dispute it and they would have to provide proof that the debt is legit.

I would run a credit report, make sure these credit agencies do screw your credit up.

I did a query on google and this is what popped up, read some of the comments.
