I'm reloading for my Taurus 24/7 Pro pistol in .45 ACP. I have come up with a fairly nice load of 4.7 gr of Titegroup with a 185gr Ranier all copper plated bullet. However, there is some blow by gas showing on the cartridge after ejection. Am I not loading for enough pressure? Could this gas blowby be caused by the case not expanding enough to create a tight seal on the chamber?

4.7 with a 185 is a pretty light load. You are probably not expanding
the case enough to get a tight seal in the chamber. I wouldn't worry
about it very much, with Titegroup all you will get is a little soot which
    should cause no damage.

    FWIW, 4.1-4.2 with a 230 gr, or around 5.0 with a 200 gr are what I load
to (just) make major power factor for Practical Pistol competition. Still
a lot lighter than factory ammo.
