black gun ammo

What do you guys think about black gun ammo? I work for the company that makes it and was just wondering what everyone thought about it. I spend all day making the 5.56. Thats all our facility makes right now but were supposed to be expanding soon to make more.

Never used it but would be willing to sample, err I mean review a few thousand rounds.

Im just an employee haha. I cant make any special deals but if you ever try it i would be curious to know what people think about it

$230 for 500 rounds isnt exactly what I would call inexpensive. Average maybe. Can you only get it online?

As far as i know. Theyre just starting up and is also selling through midway

Generic .223 goes for around $70-80 per 200 rounds in my area but NATO 5.56 American Eagle black box is a tad higher, seen it as high as $65 per 100 (at a LGS I refuse to buy ammo from

). Depending on the specs that price doesn't seem unreasonable if it's quality brass and loading.

I was making 40mm practice rounds before i started making the 5.56...that wasnt for the black gun ammo part of the business though. That part only sells to military.

I think its kinda high unless its match ammo or something. Im a cheapskate reloader anyway so what do I know.

Did you order? They are behind with everyone buying like they are but everyones workin like crazy to get caught back up.

Anyone here used this yet? I've been thinking about buying some. Yeah 6 weeks is a wait, but considering Im still waiting on the XM855 ammo I backordered from Brownells in November, I think it's a reasonable amount of time
