Bought most of the parts at a LGS for my first build.

    Del-ton upper
    w) 15" Troy float
    Mega lower
    ATI scorpion pistol grip
    Magpul furniture
10 pk of Thermold 30rd mags
    tools for assembly
    Budget $1000

I have yet to fire it, and would like to get comfortable with BUIS first before shopping for a budget red dot. Any suggestions? I'm leaning toward vortex sparc with slide our magnifier. Thanks

Very nice looking rifle. Cant beat the troy rails in my opinion. My buddy has a delton and it has served him well. He added the jp lighter trigger spring kit and it made a world of difference in trigger feel. Let us know how it shoots.

As far as red dot, Vortex makes good stuff and have a ridiculous warranty. I lost a binocular objective cover while hunting. I called and asked where to buy a replacement and they sent me two new tighter fitting covers for free!

Primary arms Micro is another option but they haven't been in stock for awhile. Anybody know what's up with that?

Thanks. I appreciate the info on triggers, Will look into that. Glad to hear good experience about vortex customer service.

Other future parts for this rifle include the following (which I have not yet researched anything on:
    Bipod
    Sling 1pt.
    Tactical flashlight
    Rifle bag/backpack
