    Into handguns??
Bersa makes a great little 9mm for under or right at 350$

The marlin you suggested would be dandy.

The ruger all american rifle is around 350$ less if you find it used.

Any decent used 22lr can be had for 350$ and under.

Do you have a mosin nagant? Those are fun. 80-130$ and you have 440 round spam cans for 60-90$.

Maybe a nice blackpowder rifle? TC has some good stuff for under 350$ if you find it used.

Are you getting this bday gun for a purpose, or just to have a new baby?

Just to have one! A lever action works first time and every-time. They are pretty too!

I just bought an eotech 512, and have an aimpoint so those are out.

My AR, Mini 14, and Mini 30 have enough ammo and mags.

My pistols also have enough of both and laser grips.

    I want an M&P 15-22, but ...more than $350

In that case a marlin 30-30 sounds fantastic.
Find an older used one thiug, the ones are kinda hit and miss.

Any reason Marlin over Winchester? If you're not worried about adding a scope, a nice Winchester 94 can be had for that.

Is that a used price? No scope planned. Another SHTF rifle. A lever goes bang every time.

A range finder is handy, game feeder or hunting blind, pop up style is good to!

I live in Las Vegas, I train. At the infamous Front Sight Firearns Training institute.
I do not hunt! Animals anyway - Tourists are another story;)

    I own tactical and auto shotgun (skeet n Trap), a mini 14, mini 30, 2 full size M&P 9mm & ,40, a compact M&P 40, and 2 AR - 15 in 5.56/.223

    I do not own a .22

Thought about the mossberg Tactical, but an not reading good things.

Would like an AR like .22 but not a 10-22, and I think the M&P 15-22 is $100 too much for the birthday limit.

And if you work for the ATF, I sold all these yesterday :)
