I bought a big bag of 160 gr 6.5mm bullets at a gun show, but when I got home I measured them and they measured .268 not .264...

I read that these might be for a 6.5 Carcano, can I use these bullets in my 6.5 Arisaka with a .264 bore? Or are these larger 6.5's just for a Carcano?

When using a dial caliper I rarely get a bullet to measure EXACTLY as advertised. Gotta use a good micrometer to get an accuracy reading.

I measured a couple of times with my digital caliper and my micrometer... They do measure .268..

From what ive read the Carcano does use a slightly larger 6.5 bullet (I guess kinda like the US[.308]/Russian[.311] 7.62 thing)

I just dont know if I can use these in my Arisaka, all my data is for .264..?

You are correct those bullets are for the 6.5 Carcano. I would not use them in a .264 bore.
