Welcome to the forum. And both of those are great guns. If you want a practical fun gun or even carry gun then go smith and wesson m&p. If you want something fun and a lil flashy go with the baby eagle.

As an owner of a Glock, I can tell you with confidence, buy the M&P:p

I love my Glock, but if I had it to do over again I would consider the M&P

Buy whatever feels best in your hands. Whether it's the m&p or a sig buy what feels best.

That's the biggest thing i like about them too, you can change the backstrap for a perfect fit, that and the available manual safety.

    Welcome to FTF btw.

    Welcome to the FTF!

IMO, it is better to have a firearm that fits you and you can safely handle with confidence.

    M&P.

In my op I'd say the M&P has some of the best ergonomics out there. I don't have one YET but I can't hold one with out wonting to buy it.

    Welcome to FTF.

There are a lot of good

    selections out there.

Rent, borrow, try, try, try, before you buy.

Many shooters at ranges will be willing to let you try theirs,

especially if you let them try what you are shooting.

For the same money as a baby, you could get a Beretta 92A1,

    a CZ75, 9mm-1911-style, or a Browning Hi-power.

I find that shooting is a constant and enjoyable journey.

I wouldn't know what to do, if I reached my "destination"...:)

I LOVE the way my CZ75 fits my hand, soooo comfy. There is a .22LR conversion kit available for cheaper training or beginners leary of 9mm recoil.
