Who do you think has the best Fried Chicken?
So much for THAT!
Granny made the best. Always yelled at grandpa to get out of her kitchen and ALWAYS made home made buttermilk biscuits with nearly every meal. The youngest of 13 kids from Hazard, KY. Past away at 96 years young 2 months ago. Best cook I've ever know, hands down... and my wife knows it.
I make the best fried chicken. Fast food fried chicken is way overcooked. Might as well batter up a rubber chicken.
I voted Popeye's though I haven't had the opportunity to try all of the places listed.....or even heard of some of them for that matter. I can't make very good fried chicken. I've tried, but I'm not so good at it.
I've only had homemade fried chicken a few times, but it's miles above better than any fast food.
Although I do have a soft spot for Hardee's chicken biscuits. F***in' love Hardee's chicken biscuits, I'll buy about 2-4 of 'em for breakfast at least once a week.
KFC is pretty consistent.
The wife. In Georgia it's grounds for divorce if the wife can't fry chicken and make homemade biscuits.
Wow i havent heard the name Hardee's in years.. they dont have them where i live now.
Am I the only one that thought of the band "The Yardbirds"?
I originally came into this topic to say Jimmy Page
hahahahaha, that's awesome, i was going to say the same thing. JP hands down. we need a way to rep people on this site
now that i know what it is, i voted for bojangles. not fair though, it's a regional restaurant. if you've never had it, you dont know what you're missing. KFC doesnt a thing on bojangles. i'd rather eat day old bojangles than fresh KFC.
What if you don't like fried chicken?
Well, then, I guess you don't vote.
There is also an option called "I do not eat that nasty fowl".
But seriously, how can someone NOT like fried chicken?
you live in the south and you dont like fried chicken?
It used to be Chicken Inn, then they went out of business. Then it was Popeye's, but they got into tax trouble and have closed. So now there isn't any good fried chicken in Indy.
I eat chicken, but what if one doesn't like it fried?
I wasn't born in the south. Fried chicken is OK, but it's not my favorite way to make chicken.
I don't understand what the big deal about banana pudding is either.
No on the list, But Church Chicken IIRC was darn good on my way through MO. years ago, Never eaten there before.
Other than that, I enjoy deep frying my own chicken/turkeys, Gotta love KFC.
i figured you were a transplant, lol.
i actually dont like banana pudding, i like bananas by themselves, but any other way is gross to me.
I dunno about Bojangles. I went to one in Spartanburg, SC on my way down to Florida and it was the sketchiest, dirtiest restaurant I've been too, food wasn't all too special either.
I too came here to vote for Jimmie Page. Got me all excited then talked about fast food chicken, grumble,grumble...
