All the good ones have already been taken, guys....but my vote for first would be "Heat."

"Enemy at the Gates" had some fairly good sniping, but was not a really good movie because they had to throw in the whole romantic angle, like so many movies feel compelled to do....IMO.

Most accurate sniping movie, TO DATE, was the opening 3 or 4 minutes in SHOOTER, followed by his shooting of the incrediable CheyTac .408 at a can of Beef Stew.

I've watched that series at least ten times and never get tired of it. Supposedly Spielberg and Hanks are working on the Pacific rim version now.

I agree with JD, Collateral. The alley triple tap.

And Sam Peckinpah's The Wild Bunch slo-mo shoot out. (Remember this is a 1969 film!) If you haven't seen this film, rent it!

    You're welcome! [IMG]

I was thinking Heat before I even opened this thread.. that shootout was great!! But then again all the ones listed were good, I really liked Cruise in the alley scene
