This is my best 5 shot group at 50 yards.
I had my rifle accurized at Savagegunsmithing, it reduced my groups by .3".
I can now shoot with some of the more expensive .22 LR rifles.
Ammo was Wolf MT. Subtract .220" from the caliper reading and it's a darn small group. Measured from the outside of the grease
rings, it's still just under .1"

What group? All i see is one shot. :D Just messing. Very nicely done.

Btw: you have a beautiful gun there. I would love to own one like it.

Thanks, I only wish it was just one .220" hole.

I have a few tac type rifles, I wanted to try something different so I got the BRJ model. I think it's a very good looking rifle. If you compare the stock to a TR, the shape is somewhat close, the TR is just more squared off like a BR rifle.
I sure am pleased with the way it shoots.

Savage makes a great rifle for the price and with a little tweeking, they shoot even better.
I'm thinking about getting the new model with the threaded 16.25" barrel and putting it in a Tacticool stock. The shorter barrel, being a little stiffer might just really be a shooter, especially if I found an attachment that complimented the barrel and helped the harmonics.
I have several different brakes/supressors with the 1/2 28 thread that I could try. I could also make an adjustable tuner to try.

    My Best, John K

    Beautiful gun and nice shooting!
I'd like to hear a little more detail on the optics and mounts as well :)

Looks like a great start. Keep up the quest for that one hole group.

Really nice grouping you have there. Excellent looking stick as well, but can you give us an idea of the work involved for the "accurizing" from Savage?

I know what that means in our shop, but am curious as to what was done to your rifle.

    Thanks,

    JD
