I have had great results on all of my firearms using EEZOX & Brian Enos Slide Guide on the rails of my 1911's

CLP Break Free is a good cleaner. I've been using WD-40 for 50 years and all my guns love me for it.

I had a gunsmith help me do some tunning on my single action rugers a few years back. He said the first thing was to clean them real good and he handed me a can of walmart brake parts cleaner. It works great i use it on all my guns, the only thing is u need to use a little extra lube. The brake cleaner has no oil in it and will dry things out. I also use synthetic trabs fluid as lube on some of my guns works great. I dont use it on my 1911's because, well im just picky about my favorites. I do use brake cleaner on everything because you can get it for less than 3 bucks a can.
