I have been shooting rentals for months and finally have a new gun coming in. I have bought Federal for $23 per 100 and Sellier & Bellot for $10.49 per 50. I really like the S&B. Has anyone found anything better for the range.

I am going to have a 19 rd mag of Horandy Critical Defense for the home.

Where did you buy Federal for $23 per 100 and Sellier & Bellot for $10.49 per 50?
Those prices seem to be the best you can find.

When u can get em walmart here has 100 rounds of federal for just under 20 before tax but they sell out quick. box of 50 is 10.97 so another two bucks when there out. We have two walmarts in my town, i went to get ammo today and one had 200 rounds wich i bought other was all out and so was farm and fleet besides the more expensive ammo. Hell i ended up having to buy 100 of federal and 100 of Tula just to get some rounds

wish mine was selling it that cheap! box of the cheapest 45acp is $21.96 a box of 50. best deal they have on ammo at the WalMart in town is the Federal bulk box of 525 22lr ammo for $15.96 and the Federal 223 fmj, box of a 100 for $34.96. sometimes the cheaper Winchester 12ga ammo is on sale for $17.96 for a bulk box of 100.

I just purchased some 9mm 115gr ammo from http://www.reliantammo.com/ for 9.45 a box of 50. I haven't shot it yet, but the quality seems on point and even ordering 5 boxes of 9mm and 5 boxes of .45 with shipping it was cheaper then locally comparable ammo. My only issue was shipping took a while through this company but it seems like shipping nationwide from most companies is backlogged.

    Range Ammo

Wally World herein SoCenPA aren't well stocked with 9mm. Tula is available at a good price. I just ordered reloads from freedommunitions.com, under .20/rnd delivered. Hope they turn out to be a good source.

Don`t know, if you can get them in the US, but Sellier & Bellot 9mm 124grain FMJ in the 250 round big box runs here for about € 42,25.
That`s approx. $ 55,- for 250 rounds. They are pretty accurate and I havn`t had any dead ones with them in any of my pistols, Sig P226, CZ75 oder Colt MK IV Series 70.
Good and halfway chwap training ammo.

    1000 rounds cost € 169,- that is about $ 223,-

The S&B is on sale right now at Cabelas, I got the Federal at Walmart a couple weeks ago.

I keep myself sitting on about 2500rds of 9mm at any given time, as I shoot it frequently. I shoot exclusively 115 & 124gr brass cased FMJs at the range and generally expect to pay $10-12 per 50. Walmart helps fill my shelves, as does SGammo.com.

Heck, you can get 124gr +P Win Ranger JHPs for under $15 per 50 at SG.

Brass cased 9mm doesn't get much cheaper than $10/box. You may find steel cased Russian rounds for cheaper...but not much cheaper, so I just pay the extra buck or two to cycle brass.

I will only shoot brass and agree with you. I figured $10 per box is good but all gun related things in the Chicago area are so expensive I wanted to see if I could get a better deal. Sounds like $10.49/box is pretty good.
