Best AR15 manufacturer?

I'm sure this topic has been covered, I tried searching but couldn't find it on here..
My question is..

Who manufacturers the best AR15?
I'm looking for something as reliable as possible for an AR.
Yes, I know an AK might be a better option, but that's not what I want. I want an extremely well made AR15.
So who manufacturers some of the best?
(Sig sauer, S&W, etc.?)
Thank you.

There is no " best" AR. The best AR is the one you can afford that will fulfill your needs . Is reliable , will go bang every time you pull the trigger and is as accurate as the shooter . Most will out shoot the guy pulling the trigger. I think a better question would have been what ARs should I stay away from .
Larue would be on my short list. Best is subjective. Best 2-5k Best 5-10k yes they exist. Best Long range, short range, caliber, application. For this forum I would state exactly what you want it to do and price range and go from there.

+1

High dollar: Larue, Les Baer, Wilson Combat
Other options: Bushmaster & DPMS (used to be pretty good but I haven't been in the AR game for a bit)
you could ask 100 people that question and you would probably get at least 50 different answers. what is the best AR manufacterer is pretty subjective IMO. some are so close in quality and performance that it would be a toss-up. and what a prson decides on it's usage could also be very subjective. a persons usage can determine what's better for them. just too broad a question for me to answer, but i think the one i own is the best!
I own several different brands . All of them run flawless and I have any where from $600 to $900 in each of them .most of which I have built . Just because it has a $2500.00 price tag on it doesn't make it better than something else that might have a $1000.00 price tag
ME

I do!
Okay, so what I'd be using it for would be just fun at the range and of course a SHTF situation.
I want something that performs well at short to medium range, not too concerned with anything super far distances. But MOST IMPORTANTLY I'm looking for the MOST RELIABLE AR.
So basically my question is...

Who makes the most RELIABLE AR that is geared more towards short to medium range shooting (less than 300 yards)?
And I wouldn't want to spend more than $2000.
Thanks you all for your help!
I think most on the market are all reliable

My personal preference is Rock River Arms thoe
Steer clear of new Bushmaster and the polymer ARs. I would also stay away from a piston operated. For what you want find a 18" or 16" (I would go 18") from a good name spend $1200 out the door and spend the rest in optics. I like eotech for red dot and nikon or Leopold for the distance you are talking.
Overall in quality and price point I like bravo company. Great product at awesome prices. They're known for some of the best bcg. I have a complete and a built that is majority BCM. Rainer arms does good things as well. Again others maybe "nicer" but at there price BCM all the way. Check out their websites
More than adequate budget.

Colt
BCM
Daniel Defense
Rainer Arms
LMT

Then put an Aimpoint on it, get mags, and ammo and you are done.......for now.
Anyone heard anything about the sig sauer ARs?

I found a few on their website I really liked and they seem to be a quality company.

But from the sounds of it, I can't really go wrong with most anything ill fun at a reputable LGS...right?

"reputable" ...yeah. A sale is a sale. If they have a carbon15 they've been sitting on for 2 years, you better believe they'll try and sell it. But yeah, for the most part, its pretty hard to screw up buying an AR, quality wise. You should be fine if you just stay away from polymer "carbon" lowers and unbelievable deals.

Oh yeah... Model 15 and Vulcan arms rifles might blow up and/or jam repeatedly if they cycle at all.

BTW, sig is a fine company . Im sure their AR works flawlessly.
Sig's got a loyal following, but they are relatively new to the AR game. I personally think there are better choices for the same price of a Sig AR.
I love my RRA (rock river arms) I want to get one of their 1911s to keep It company
Um, hate to break it to you but, Rock River Arms = made in the USA. Rock Island Armor= made in the Philipines.
Not the same company.......unless. RRA makes 1911s now, kinda doubt it tho.
Yeah rock river arms makes 1911 too
