What is it any suggestions?
Best for target practice (well less dirty rounds)?
And best home defense rounds?

I have Federal 230 grain .45 hydra shok law enforcement tactical. Whats anyones thought on those?

I havent looked at any ballistics yet.. just curious thanks in advance!

I have a glock 30 and it eats anything when I practice I use tulammo for defence I use pdx1 Winchester

Winchester White Box. 230 gn. FMJ and competitively priced. There are many that will work. It seems like when you get over 200 or 300 rnds, through it , everything seems to work itself out.

Glocks like dirt.

I generally use Winchester 230gr FMJ for practice. Reasonably cheap and clean.

People will have their favorites but I don't think there is really a lot of difference between the premium JHP rounds from the major manufactures.

Some will dismiss Hydra-Shok as outdated but in .45 at least they still show good performance in gel testing. Plus they can be found if more economical 50 round LE packaging. (Speer Gold Dot and Federal HST are also available this way and are my normal choice in both 9mm and .45 ACP.

Mine is fairly new, and so far it has eaten all 3 generic 230gr target ammo types Ive fed it, zero issues

I shoot Blazer aluminum rounds. Case of 1000 for $319 last time I bought it. I think it's $339 now. I can't remember what my SD rounds are. I think they are Winchester PDX1 +P. I know it's Winchester and it's +p I think it's pdx1. I shot most of it a couple weeks ago. I replace my SD rounds at least once per year.

Not online. The local Pawn shop deals mostly in guns and they typically stock the blazer 1000 round cases in .45, 9mm, .380 and sometimes .40
I dunno if you can order online, but if you want to try it's Forsyth County Pawn. The sister store, which is far bigger and more focused on firearms, is called Dawsonville Guns. The Dawsonville guns store has a vast selection of accessories available. Mags, sights, lasers, bayonets, you name it they pretty much have it. They also stock antique and collectible stuff. Last time I was there they had a 1893 Colt SAA, Dragoon, and several Winchester 1894's. They both have websites, but the sites are kinda basic

I've been using the Federal Hydra Shok in my Sig228 for 27 years, in my NAA .32 for 10 years and in my Glock 27 for 5 years. They always go boom every time I squeeze the trigger. I know of 2 who had to use them to end a bad situation. I would think additional references would just be the icing on the cake.

I like the Speer Gold Dot a lot, but I think the Hydra Shok would make a perpetrator dance a little more if hit.
