I am looking for a 9mm but am unsure of what to get. Any suggestions ?
Need lots if details like purpose of this gun and budget
Compact, I would prefer a manual safety and a lightweight slide. Budget pretty flexible.
Also a lightweight gun
Smith and Wesson M&P compact
Sig Sauer 938
Springfield Armory XD9 Sub-compact
Thanks for the suggestions
My first 9mm was the Ruger P95. I have shot a GLOCK 19 and Beretta PX4 Storm. They all shoot very nice, but it is how the weapon feels in your hands is the most important. What I did was went to several different shops and handle many different types of guns and calibers before I purchased the Ruger.
Ya I plan on going to look at all types before I make a purchase, just wanted to get people's opinions as well.
Nothing is better than going to the range, renting them all, and deciding for yourself.
I like both the beretta 92 and px4. They both shoot well. Also the Springfield xd or xdm are good. Plus glock 17. I think the m&p 9 feels better in my hand though. That's about all I have tried.... Personally I own a px4. Good gun, only ftf was when someone else was firing it (weird) but otherwise it's great and it looks nice too
Browning Hi-Power is at the top of the list
Agree 100%, but it is not compact.
But every 9mm shooter should have a Hi Power.
Correct, OP says he is looking for a compact.
The baby desert eagle is definitely my choice all metal frame, fits the hand perfect and has a great trigger pull!
I'd check out the CZ 2075 RAMI, it's on my want list. It is a compact version of the CZ 75b, all steel frame and slide.
Check out the Springfield Armory EMP. Pretty pricey though.
Colt lightweight defender
Beretta 92. I rented one and had to have it.
Also on my want list!
Get one. Youll love it
